EddyDesk is a desktop solution for detecting surface defects at the laboratory. This is made by integration of mechanical handling together with EddyLine I eddy current testing system. Accordingly, EddyDesk can detect any transverse, longitudinal, point defect, and any missing material caused by the production process of any cylindrical test object with an external diameter from 5 mm to 200 mm. For this device, the test pieces are loaded by a user. Then, they will be inspected and the result can be documented for further use, shown on the EddyLine I screen and sorted into good and bad parts. Documentation can help the manufacturer to analyze and improve their production process. Consequently, EddyWise helps manufacture to increase their quality requirements and ppm.
